Event Details

Interaction Design (IxD) is not solely the domain of creatives and usability professionals. Developers and engineers have a pivotal role to play in creating interactions that satisfy and delight users. We will explore the genesis and history of IxD, and practical examples from a real world Flex project.

David Ortinau is currently a Flex developer for ThisLife, a cloud
product for storing and sharing personal media. With 15 years of
experience building, designing, and producing digital media, he
passionately advocates and pursues great design that produces tangible
results. David regularly speaks at user groups and conferences, most
recently presenting at D2W, 360|Flex, Flash Camp St. Louis, and the
St. Louis Flex User Group.
